Bruges
Em Fevereiro passado visitámos Bruges na Bélgica.
É uma cidade medieval, antiga capital da Flandres, que muita história tem para contar. o nome deriva do Neerlandês antigo brugga que significa "ponte"
O passeio pode fazer-se num só dia, tendo porém bastante que visitar. A cidade tem uma rede grande de museus e edifícios históricos.
Destacamos o que visitámos o Bruggemuseum Stadhuis - a Câmara Municipal de Bruges - um dos edifícios mais antigos da Bélgica (1376) com fantásticos frescos do séc. XIX.
Capital of West Flanders, it has this status from former times and much histories to be told. The name probably derives from the Old Dutch for "bridge": brugga.
You can plan a one-day walk though the city though it has plenty to visit. It has a vast network of museums and historic buildings.
We will pay special emphasis to the one we visited: Bruggemuseum Stadhuis - Bruges City Hall - which is one of the oldest buildings in Belgium (1376) and has magnificent 19th century frescoes.
